Hello. I am not Deepak, but I would like to speak to what you have written. What you are describing happens quite often – more often than we want. One of your final questions and staement was your ‘feeling of powerlessness’. Know that you are not powerless – you can speak directly through words/conversation with your children, and also be leading by example – now. This will open their eyes to the great possiblilities of change – growth !! You are not alone in this, many of us [parents, etc] echo what we lived as children/young adults. Break the cycle with love. Once you have shown them your growth and acknowledgement of your growth through example and expression, they then can grow from it or not. Either way, continue to love them as they live their own journey. Tehy hopefully will express what they learn of love, to their children and so on. Best wishes and love to you and yours.

I really believe that everything is interconnect, so when I focus in increase myself (love, patient, compassion…) everything improve.
