Nondual Awareness and Wellbeing Study
Education & Research
Overview
Numerous meditative practices and spiritual philosophies emphasize the importance of cultivating a perceptual shift away from a predominate ego self-identification to a more non-personal universal awareness, often termed “nondual” awareness, or non-separation, or oneness. In the state of nondual awareness, there is no longer a distinction between the knower, the known, and the process of knowing; this is all experienced as one.
This particular Foundation study is examining the effects of intensive well-being interventions on developing a sense of nondual awareness and fits into the Foundation’s broader research into transpersonal states and optimal wellbeing.
