When you have realised that you are a part of consciousness, how do you get compassionate in whatever YOU are doing? Doesn’t it feel superficial?
Suffering
I believe the mind is the power house of transferring information from the non physical world to the physical world but can you please explain to me the reasons for pain, suffering (of vulnerable – elderly, children, animals). What are the reasons for this because I need to understand so that I can make sense of it all. Is it that how we interpret suffering and how we experience it that maps out our soul and determines the next life we live. Is there such a place as heaven? Is there such a place as hell? Once we die doesn’t that place we go to get packed out and full of souls. Does heaven get cramped with souls. Please explain to me. Where do we go?
Rumi’s Love Poems
Hello, this question is regarding your book the love poems of Rumi. I cannot express how important this question is to me. The most important thing in the world to me is finding my twin flame….it is why I breathe, it is what I painfully long for. When I used to read Rumi’s poetry, I would think this guy understands me. He knows what I am talking about. That he was talking about a lover instead of god. But I saw an interview of you on YouTube, and you seemed to express that his poetry is about the love for god. Controlled by a higher consciousness
How much of our life is really in our control? Are not the events in our life (and maybe also how we react to them) influenced and driven by a higher consciousness, which we are not aware of? Say, for example Arjuna’s life.. Isn’t his succumbing to despair in the battlefield of Kurukshetra preplanned, so that Lord Krishna’s purpose of coming to the earth gets fulfilled? Did he really have any choice to make when Lord Krishna asked him to take on the battlefield after explaining to him the Bhagwad Gita? Was there ever a possibility that Arjuna could have said no to the battle? What is the point of ‘our’ being, if we are just following a predestined plan through our hearts, and that our choices also are not actually voluntary.
Getting Started with Meditation
I recently read your e book on the seven spiritual laws, and I was wondering where I should start in order to apply these laws to my everyday life. I am unfamiliar with meditation, and I have never done yoga. So how do I go about it if I am lacking those skills? At this time, taking a classes prove to be difficult. Any suggestions on how to get started at home?
