I am 27 years old and my ill Mother will be moving in with my partner and I. I am absolutely terrified of what this will do to me and my relationship as well as harboring resentment over the fact that since she has no money I will have to put all of my goals of buying a home and starting a family on hold almost indefinitely. In addition my job is showing signs of instability with a new boss who seems threatened by strong women. I am ridden with fear and even though I know meditation, etc., is the right path to peace I can’t seem to go there. Help please!!
Chakra Clearing Sensations
I have purchased your chakra clearing CD and used for the first time this morning. Whilst listening to the meditation CD, I experienced an
intense sensation like a buzzing and vibration at the base of my spine as I started to visualise the colour red at my root chakra. It was
incredibly intense, uncomfortable even, and I can still feel tingling in the area now several hours later. Is this ok? Should I be concerned?
ABringing peace with the right words
Within the intent of ‘through action, thought, and speech” bring peace. The speech part has me confused. It seems like everyone is stepping up to raise their vibration, yet through their own words counter this, even in manifesting. The word WANT is very neg. to me(there are many others). If thoughts, or intent are sent out as a desire it only comes back with still WANTING it. Want also mean lack, (thus not available) so why would we create more lack? Changing vocabulary with words- words are energy , wanting to bring peace, will result in still wanting it or a much longer time frame for delivery. I believe if more people were to become aware of this, the world might just be a better place. Please help.
Choosing a Spiritual Path
I am only now starting my formal spiritual quest, and just finished your book, Buddha – very enjoyable. However, I am troubled in perusing your site that so much seems geared toward fulfilling western drives for material “success,” and that it seems geared toward realizing the “self,” while my rudimentary understanding of Buddha’s teachings seem clear that self is an illusion and an impediment to enlightenment. Please help me understand?
I am looking to eastern philosophies to help chart a path for unified humanity beyond the contemporary focus on individual achievement, material acquisition and individual “salvation” for the individual “soul,” none of which I believe exist. Am I traveling the wrong path?
Law of Attraction and Karma
If you can please answer this for me ….how does the law of karma square up with law of attraction, because law of attraction says anything can be achieved, which would mean even evil doers do not have to pay for their deeds ?
