Hello, this question is regarding your book the love poems of Rumi. I cannot express how important this question is to me. The most important thing in the world to me is finding my twin flame….it is why I breathe, it is what I painfully long for. When I used to read Rumi’s poetry, I would think this guy understands me. He knows what I am talking about. That he was talking about a lover instead of god. But I saw an interview of you on YouTube, and you seemed to express that his poetry is about the love for god. How much of our life is really in our control? Are not the events in our life (and maybe also how we react to them) influenced and driven by a higher consciousness, which we are not aware of? Say, for example Arjuna’s life.. Isn’t his succumbing to despair in the battlefield of Kurukshetra preplanned, so that Lord Krishna’s purpose of coming to the earth gets fulfilled? Did he really have any choice to make when Lord Krishna asked him to take on the battlefield after explaining to him the Bhagwad Gita? Was there ever a possibility that Arjuna could have said no to the battle? What is the point of ‘our’ being, if we are just following a predestined plan through our hearts, and that our choices also are not actually voluntary.

I recently read your e book on the seven spiritual laws, and I was wondering where I should start in order to apply these laws to my everyday life. I am unfamiliar with meditation, and I have never done yoga. So how do I go about it if I am lacking those skills? At this time, taking a classes prove to be difficult. Any suggestions on how to get started at home?

I took the primordial sound meditation teaching with one of your instructors and they explained my personal mantra as the sound that was made at the time of my birth. Since I studied with the instructor I have become afraid of it. This morning I had a deep, spiritual dream that has led me to think of our will being very delicate and that what I am choosing is based on past experience and really a type of hell. The thought that surfaced was that I have to get back to the beginning but not in the past. The thought of practicing my primordial sound meditation popped into my head. My question is, will practicing the sound meditation take me further into this world (earth) or bring me closer to God? There is so much uneasiness about it because I do not want to do anything wrong and end up alone in some horrifying hell. Please help. Thank you.

I have a question for long time:

In the law of karma what happens when you have been a “bad boy” for a long time, or you haven´t been who you must be (as a good father, as a fried, as a human being) but with the time you realize you have made things wrong and you regret it and decide you have and want to change your thoughts and your form of living and you become a new spiritual human being
Does it affect somehow your karma, I mean the responsibility you have to take your acts before you change your thoughts? What role does forgiveness play in all this?
